Hey there!
I’m Jessica — a Northern Virginia girl married to my husband Daniel, and a mom to two energetic boys, Eli and Luke. Life in our house is lively, a little chaotic, and filled with super heroes and Hot Wheels at every turn.
I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to balance everything — work, parenting, marriage — trying so hard to get it all right. For a long time, I believed I had to be everything for everyone, without ever stopping to ask myself what I needed. I was running on empty, just surviving.
But over time, I realized something had to change. I gave myself permission to prioritize life-giving self-care, even when it felt uncomfortable or when mom guilt loomed over me. I leaned into the hard work of healing, faced my shortcomings head-on, and slowly began to rebuild.
Through that process, I found resilience and a whole new perspective — one that helped me become a better version of myself, both for me and my family. I don’t have it all figured out, but I do have stories and lessons to share with other moms walking a similar path.
This is a space for authenticity, where you’ll find a friend who understands just how easy it is to lose yourself in motherhood but also how fulfilling it is to find yourself again.
You’re not alone, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I believe…
Growing in motherhood requires discomfort.
My mission…
Support women to live a fulfilling life in and outside of motherhood.
My values…
Authenticity, vulnerability, connection, self-compassion, and faith.
A bit more about me…
Background:
I’m a proud daughter of the most loving, generous, and supportive Salvadorian immigrant parents. We had nothing, yet everything. I take pride in my upbringing however, as with most second-generation Americans, I was raised with a hint of generational trauma — IYKYK.
How I socialize:
I’m an introverted extrovert but can adapt depending on the social setting.
Hobbies:
I like to go on long runs and walks on trails. I also love reading self-help books, and writing.
My non-negotiables:
My faith, and staying true to who I am. Setting boundaries and protecting my peace are essential, as is leading with compassion and authenticity.
My typical week:
You’ll find me tackling strategic communications projects during the day, and soaking up quality time with my husband and boys in the evenings. I also try to carve out time for reflection, movement, and maybe a little binge-watching when the house finally quiets down.
